| Q: Do I have to print five coupons at once? Can I choose which coupon paper slots to place the offers in? |
A: Some users have requested the ability to choose which slots to print discounts in. Thereby, being able to reuse their paper. Unfortunately this is not possible as we have found that sending coupon paper through some printers with coupons removed will cause paper feed problems and tearing of the paper. It is recommended to print five coupons per page. For this reason, we currently don’t give our users an option to choose which coupon slots to print to on their paper. |

| Q: I'm getting ready to print coupons. Why do they all say VOID? |
A: This is one of our security features. It is designed to prevent persons from printing the discounts displayed on their Internet Browser and bypassing our print process. When you follow the printing process of the website the discount will print out in the correct shape and the void will no longer be there. These security features are a few of the reasons why our participating merchants feel comfortable offering such high value discounts. |

| Q: I can't get anything to print. |
A: In order for 2for1.com to be able to print directly with your printer, a small browser plug-in called an ActiveX control must be installed on your computer.
You must be using Internet Explorer on a Microsoft Windows computer for this plug-in to function. You must also have administrator privledges.
To get this program installed, after logging in, click the link that says 'Calibrate Your Printer'. At this point, the plug-in should download and install on your computer. If at any time during this process, a little grey box pops up and asks you if you wish to allow 2for1.com to install an activeX control, click yes.
If you have problems, either the plug-in doesn't install correctly, or causes your web browser to crash, click 'No' to the question at the bottom of the page that asks: "Did the test discounts print properly inside the discount shells?" Follow the instructions on the page to try a different version of the ActiveX control. If you then have any problems, please contact us. |
|
| Q: Which way do I put my paper into my printer? |
A: Due to limitations of current technology and as each printer is unique in design; there is no way for us to tell how your paper is to be inserted into your printer. Therefore it is the responsibility of the owner of the printer to have this information. Try printing with the test pages to determine which way to insert your real coupon paper. |
|
| Q: Why can't i get the ActiveX Control to work? |
A: First, make sure you are using Internet Explorer to browse the site.
Temporarily disable any virus, spyware, or pop-up blocker programs, as they will prevent the installation of the “ActiveX Control”. After the ActiveX Control is installed you may reactivate these programs.
Login to 2for1.com
If the “Print a test page” window comes up then continue with the instructions below. If it doesn’t appear, and you are in the “Membership Area”, click the “Calibrate Your Printer” link. This should bring you to the “Print a test page”.
Note: If at anytime during this process a “Security Warning” window pops up asking you if you want to installing an “ActiveX Control” answer: yes.
Note: for users with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed, it may be necessary to click a link under the address bar of Internet Explorer that says “It appears this website may need an ActiveX Control to function” to have the ActiveX Control installed.
Then, do NOT click “Start Printing”, but answer “No” to the question at the bottom of the page.
Click next and follow the instructions.
If that works, answer yes to the question at the bottom of the page. Note: If you do not answer, “Yes” to this question your settings will not be saved and you’ll have to go through these procedures again.
